Only those who meet the required education, age, experience, and domicile conditions can apply. The entire selection process is conducted fairly through NTS and is based strictly on merit and quota.

The recruitment includes two major categories:
Supervisory Positions (Nazim/Khuddam Al-Hajjaj)

- Eligible Grades: BPS-11 to BPS-18

Field / Assistant Staff Positions

- Eligible Grades: BPS-11 to BPS-16

Age Requirements for Khuddam Al-Hajj/Nazims Selection 2026
The age limits differ for fresh applicants and repeaters:
New (Fresh) Candidates
- Minimum Age: 25 years
- Maximum Age: 45 years
Repeater Candidates
- Minimum Age: 25 years
- Maximum Age: 50 years
Candidates Who Served More Than Twice
Those who have already performed Hajj duty as Khuddam Al-Hajj/Nazim more than two times are eligible only provisionally. Their final selection depends on the decision of the Intra-Court Appeal 72/2025 pending in the Islamabad High Court.
Selection Process for Khuddam Al-Hajj/Nazims 2026
The selection process consists of multiple stages, ensuring transparency and merit.
NTS Written Test
- Applicants must take an NTS written test based on the syllabus available on the NTS website.
- Minimum Passing Score: 40 marks
- Only those who score 40 or above will qualify for the physical test.
Physical Fitness Test
After the written test, candidates will undergo a Physical Fitness Test, which includes:
- 5 km run & brisk walk
- Must be completed within the given time

Medical Fitness Requirements
Candidates must provide a medical fitness certificate from the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.
Those with the following conditions will not be eligible:
- Heart diseases
- High blood pressure
- Diabetes
- Chronic medical issues
- Physical disabilities or weakness
- Mental health disorders
The Ministry’s medical team may re-evaluate candidates at any stage.
Important Eligibility Conditions
- 70% repeaters and 30% new candidates will be selected in each category.
- In view of the challenging nature of duties, reserved seats are available for uniformed staff of:
- Police
- Airport Security Force (ASF)
- Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF)
- Rescue 1122
- The actual substantive pay scale of the applicant will determine their category and eligibility.
- Departmental NOC is mandatory and must be submitted within the specified time.
- Incorrect or false information will lead to immediate disqualification and possible departmental action.
