The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched a remarkable educational initiative under the Kohat Division Development Program (KDDP). For the academic year 2025-26, the government is offering fully funded scholarships to deserving students through the Higher Education, Archives and Libraries Department (HED).

The Kohat Division Development Program Scholarship 2025-26 is a fully funded scholarship that covers:

- A monthly stipend as per government rules.
- Opportunities to study in top public sector universities across Pakistan.

District-wise Seat Distribution and Offered Fields
The scholarship seats are distributed among four districts, Lakki Marwat, Karak, Hangu, and Kohat, to ensure fair representation. The total number of scholarships is 154, which includes both new and repeat students.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Kohat Division Development Program Scholarship 2025-26, applicants must fulfill the following conditions:
- Domicile: Must have a valid domicile of Kohat, Karak, Hangu, or Lakki Marwat.
- Admission: Must have secured admission in one of the approved universities and disciplines.
- Scholarship Status: The applicant should not be availing of any other scholarship at the time of application.
- Poverty Score: The applicant’s BISP-NSER poverty score should be between 0 and 45.

How to Apply for the KDDP Scholarship 2025-26
The application process for the KDDP Scholarship is simple and transparent.
- Get the Application Form: Students can obtain the scholarship application form directly from the participating universities.
- Complete the Form: Fill in all required details carefully and attach necessary documents such as domicile, CNIC, and admission letter.
- Submit to the University: Submit the completed application form to the concerned university, not directly to KDDP or HED offices.
- Evaluation Process: All applications will be reviewed by the Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC) within 15 days after the deadline announced by each university.
- Note: Submitting false or incomplete information will result in immediate disqualification.
