Pakistan Increases Civil Armed Forces Martyrs Compensation Package

Pakistan has taken a major step to honor the sacrifices of its security personnel by significantly increasing the Civil Armed Forces Martyrs Compensation Package. According to the official notification, the compensation has been raised by 233 percent, marking one of the biggest enhancements ever made for the families of martyrs serving in the Civil Armed Forces.

The new compensation rates have been implemented from the date of the Federal Cabinet’s decision, approved on August 26, 2025. This decision aims to ensure long-term financial stability and welfare for the families who have lost their loved ones in the line of duty.

Implementation of the New Package

The revised Civil Armed Forces Martyrs Compensation Package came into effect immediately after the cabinet’s approval. This reform reflects the government’s commitment to recognizing the bravery, service, and ultimate sacrifice of personnel who dedicated their lives to protecting the nation.

Revised Minimum and Maximum Compensation

One of the most important changes in the new package is the massive increase in the minimum and maximum compensation amounts:

  • New minimum compensation: Rs 10 million
    (Previously Rs 3 million)
  • New maximum compensation: Rs 20 million
    (Previously Rs 10 million)

This substantial revision ensures that the families of martyrs receive stronger financial protection and long-term support.

Grade-Wise Cash Compensation Details

The updated Civil Armed Forces Martyrs Compensation Package includes a structured grade-wise distribution of cash compensation:

  • Grades 1–9: Rs 10 million
  • Grades 10–15: Rs 12.5 million
  • Grades 16–17: Rs 15 million
  • Grades 18–19: Rs 18 million
  • Grades 20 and above: Rs 20 million

This tiered system ensures fair and appropriate financial assistance based on the service grade of the martyred personnel.

Additional Benefits for Martyrs’ Families

The new package is not limited to cash compensation. It also includes several long-term welfare benefits designed to support the families of martyrs in all aspects of life. Under the revised Civil Armed Forces Martyrs Compensation Package, families will receive:

  • Full salary and allowances of the martyred personnel
  • Pension benefits without deductions
  • Free employment opportunities for eligible family members
  • Free health facilities
  • Free education facilities
  • Marriage grant for family dependents
  • House building advances and other welfare facilities

  • Punjab Rangers
  • Sindh Rangers
  • Frontier Corps (FC) North and FC South under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
  • FC North and FC South under Balochistan
  • Pakistan Coast Guard
  • Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts
  • Federal Constabulary

This ensures that personnel serving across provinces and territories receive uniform financial protection and recognition.
