Punjab Dhi Rani Marriage Scheme

The Government of Punjab is setting a new benchmark in social welfare with its ambitious Punjab Dhi Rani Marriage Scheme, a mass marriage initiative aimed at helping deserving girls across the province. Launched under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the program is gaining widespread recognition for its transparency, effectiveness, and direct impact on the lives of ordinary citizens.

A Revolutionary Welfare Step: The Dhi Rani Program

The Dhi Rani Program is a key welfare initiative focused on supporting underprivileged families by arranging collective wedding ceremonies for deserving girls. This program not only helps reduce the financial burden of marriage for low-income families but also promotes a sense of dignity and equality.

According to officials, the original goal was to organize 5,000 mass marriages. However, due to overwhelming public trust and cooperation, over 5,600 couples have already tied the knot under this initiative, exceeding expectations.
