Punjab Livestock Card Scheme Final Phase 2025

The Punjab Livestock Card Scheme final phase 2025, launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, is a groundbreaking initiative designed to provide financial support to livestock farmers across Punjab. After the successful completion of the first phase, the government has now started the second phase on a large scale, giving thousands of farmers the chance to improve their livestock management through interest-free loans.

This program aims to uplift small and medium livestock farmers by offering easy loans, feed support, and direct purchasing facilities through the Punjab Livestock Card.

Financial Benefits and Cash Withdrawal Facility

Under the Punjab Livestock Card Scheme, farmers can access a generous financial package to improve their herds. The loan amount ranges from Rs. 135,000 to Rs. 540,000, depending on the number of animals owned by the applicant.

A major advantage of this card is the 25% cash withdrawal facility, which allows farmers to withdraw a portion of the loan in cash for urgent needs such as feed, medicines, or transportation.

This interest-free loan option has made the scheme one of the most farmer-friendly initiatives ever launched in the province.

Eligibility Criteria for the Punjab Livestock Card

The Punjab government has set clear and farmer-friendly eligibility criteria to ensure that the benefits reach genuine livestock owners. Applicants will be selected strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration is highly recommended.

To qualify for the Livestock Card, the farmer must:

  • Be registered in the Livestock Department’s 9211 system
  • Own 5 to 20 heifers
  • Own 5 to 20 male calves
  • Have an active mobile SIM registered in their own name
  • Possess a valid CNIC

These simple requirements ensure that livestock owners from all tehsils and districts of Punjab can participate in the program.
