Sindh Distribute Benazir Hari Card: The Sindh government has taken an important step to improve the lives of farmers across the province. The Sindh Bank will begin issuing 50,000 Hari Cards in the last week of this month. The remaining cards will be distributed every 20 days in different phases until all registered farmers receive their cards. Solar-Powered Drip Irrigation Subsidy Scheme
In addition to the Hari Card, the Sindh government has also introduced a solar-powered drip irrigation scheme. Farmers owning between 5 and 25 acres of land will be eligible to receive solar panels at subsidized rates.
- 80% of the cost will be covered by the government.
- 20% of the cost will be borne by the farmers.
This scheme will help farmers reduce electricity expenses, save water, and move towards sustainable farming. Applications for this scheme can be submitted until September 20.
